Satori Mineral Water

The mineral water manufacturing company Satori chose ultra-hygienic and UV resistant flooring solutions from Flowcrete Vietnam in a bespoke blue colour for its processing workshop and warehouse.

Satori Mineral Water, located on Long Hau Industrial Park is open to the public and showcases its strictly maintained, innovative water processing technology.

The flooring solution needed to be able to withstand the challenges inherent to a busy food-grade industrial facility, whilst also being visually pleasing to staff and visitors alike.

For the processing area, 6,294 m² of the antibacterial, self-smoothing Flowfresh SL polyurethane resin floor system was chosen, thanks to its suitability to dry and semi-wet food and beverage spaces.

As well as being suited to wet processing areas, Flowfresh SL also has high abrasion resistance, meaning that high footfall, the weight from heavy machinery and the risk of dropped items would be no match for the flooring, which would stay looking its best for an extended period of time.

For this public-facing space, the Flowfresh system was specified in a custom blue shade to match Satori’s brand colours in the precise shade of Dulux 17 BG 60/228. Flowcrete Vietnam was able to deliver this to the client’s utmost satisfaction.

For added protection, the floor was completed with 6,294 m² of Flowseal UV, a two component, aliphatic and UV stable floor sealer with a gloss finish.

Aside from providing a hardwearing floor, Flowcrete Vietnam’s Flowseal sealant is also UV resistant, meaning that the custom coloured coating would not fade or suffer from yellowing as a result of UV exposure. The non-dusting and seamless finish is also very easy to clean and maintain, meaning that the facility could be cleaned and ready to welcome guests at a moment’s notice.

It is not just the visible factors that make this flooring so impressive. The incorporation of Polygiene®, an antibacterial additive hidden within the Flowfresh system, helps to eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria on the floor’s surface, helping to keep the facility, and therefore the manufactured product, clean and sanitary.

For the warehouse, 10,193 m² of Flowcoat HTS from Flowcrete Vietnam was chosen thanks to its high chemical, abrasion, UV and slip resistance. This flooring solution was designed for environments with heavy traffic, where abrasion resistance is essential to the durability of the floor, such as warehouses.

The flooring installation was completed within the two-month time frame stipulated by the client, and the facility was ready to welcome both staff and visitors to the innovative facility.
