Flowcrete Asia takes great pleasure in congratulating Kwong Man Kee Group Limited (KMK) on receiving the Hong Kong Business Listed Companies Distinguished Award 2018. The award is a recognition of KMK’s sterling performance as a listed company and its contribution to Hong Kong’s economy.

Mr Francis Tang, General Manager of Flowcrete Hong Kong, was invited to the award dinner by KMK. Flowcrete UK has won the Large Industrial Project of the Year and Large Commercial Project of the Year categories at the FeRFA 2018 Best Practise Awards.

The Resin Flooring Association (FeRFA) represents major businesses and organisations involved in resin flooring, screeding and surface preparation. Its annual awards event, which this year was held at St Johns Hotel, Solihull, on November 23^rd, celebrates the best of the resin flooring industry’s achievements from over the past year.

Flooring in office canteens needs to be multi-functional to ensure that function meets aesthetics and provides a safe and hygienic space for staff to use on a daily basis.

When specifying the flooring for a canteen several factors must be considered, such as who will be using the space, what they will be using it for and what challenges the floor will face. For office canteens, it can be assumed that staff will be using the space to relax and eat lunch, so the floor is likely to face exposure to spilled food or drink, highlighting two properties that should be specified for the flooring - slip resistance and chemical resistance.

Flowcrete Asia has launched a brand-new, one-of-a-kind wall coatings range that allows designers to easily create natural stone textures without the labour, hassle and costs of installing the real thing.

The Multicolor Stoneface® range is unlike standard homogenous wall coatings, as it contains a variety of coloured liquid beads within the system’s resin matrix that forms a consistent, multi-coloured pattern when sprayed onto a surface. This combination of innovative formulation and spraying technique is able to emulate a range of natural aesthetics and textures including granite and marble.
