MAP’s impressive portfolio includes world-class brands such as Zara, Starbucks, Reebok, Marks and Spencer’s and Debenhams.
For its brand new Krispy Kreme and Coldstone Ice Cream processing facility, MAP required durable flooring that would meet the demands of food industry regulations and guidelines.
To achieve this, Flowcrete was appointed to provide its Flowfresh range due to the durable nature of the system that enables it to withstand thermal shock from hot ovens, chemical attack from food-by-products and point loading from heavy equipment.
Due to its superior hygiene properties and high abrasion resistance, Flowfresh MF was applied at 3mm to the production areas; offering an attractive smooth matt coloured floor finish. In addition, Flowfresh RT was applied at 6mm in the wet areas and loading bays providing a textured coloured floor finish that provides a higher degree of durability and additional slip resistance.
The seamless and impervious nature of the Flowfresh range facilitates quick and easy cleaning and enhances on-site hygiene levels, with the antimicrobial additive Polygiene® which is homogenously distributed into every Flowfresh floor.
