Four recently completed residential projects used the solvent-free, low VOC primer Deckshield EP was used thanks to its suitability for creating flooring build-ups that are watertight, fire and slip-resistant and extremely hardwearing.
Victoria Skye, the first large-scale residential project of K&K Property in HK, consisting of three 35-storey towers and five 6-storey towers chose the Green Label Certified Deckshield ID for the 5,800 m2 basement car park thanks to its ability to create a safe, attractive environment for the long term.
Comprised of four towers; two 34-storey and two 6-storey, the Vibe Centro developed by Poly Property chose custom colours of Deckshield UV for parking spaces and driveways alongside Deckshield UV Linemarker for lines and signage, thanks to the durable and decorative properties of the deck coating systems.
The Oasis Kai Tak development by Wheelock, consisting of four high-rise and four low-rise blocks utilised 4,000 m2 of Deckshield ID for the basement car park. Thanks to its excellent slip resistance, 600 m2 of Deckshield IDSD High Grade was chosen for the steep ramp, and 800 m2 of the high performance Flowcoat SF41 was chosen at 3mm for the loading and unloading areas. In addition, 2,000 m2 of custom-coloured Deckshield UV was applied.
Finally, the K. City project developed by K. Wah, comprising of 150 residential parking spaces, accommodating those residing in the four 34-storey towers and four 6-storey blocks utilised 5,700 m2 of Deckshield ID. For the loading and unloading areas, where heavy duty vehicles such as refuse collection trucks would regularly visit, 300 m2 of Flowcoat SF41 was chosen for added durability.
