HellermannTyton is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical and electronic components for fastening, fixing, installing, connecting, insulating, protecting and identifying electrical cables and data network infrastructure. It operates in 16 world-class manufacturing facilities and develops products at 13 locations around the world.

The manufacturing plant in Yishun Industrial Park A, Singapore, was established in 1981, and had been using roll-on epoxy floor coatings for many years. However, the flooring had not been as good as expected. So, for the new extension area, the client required a truly durable floor surface to guard against impacts from frequent movements of heavy materials and busy forklift truck traffic. Flowcrete Asia and its applicator were selected for the flooring job.

Flowcrete’s Flowfresh MF, a heavy-duty cementitious polyurethane flooring system, was applied due to its hard-wearing and slip-resistant finish which also boasts chemical and temperature resistance properties. The Flowfresh system is available in a variety of vibrant colours. Shamrock Green was chosen to give the production and warehouse a vibrant and clean look.

The flooring project was completed by Flowcrete’s approved applicator just within three days so that the facility could be operational without any further delay.
