Pizza Place, Indonesia

Established in 2014, Pizza Place is a local pizza brand that serves an array of handcrafted traditional pizzas and oven fresh pies. Its newest restaurant is a charming nook nestled in the heart of Jakarta, Indonesia, with a warm and inviting ambiance.

The franchise owner of the new Pizza Place outlet wanted to incorporate a natural cement look for the flooring as well as the dining top in the restaurant, and eventually selected Flowcrete’s Flowscreed Micro system for its customisable concrete colour palette, hardwearing properties, and good abrasion resistance.

The Flowscreed Micro system is formulated using high-grade cement with a special polymer resin and selected aggregates, additives, and unique pigment paste. Its seamless design facilitates easy cleaning and maintenance. The colour Luna was used for the dining and tabletop areas, while the colour Antique Grey was applied throughout the restaurant’s flooring.

The project took about a week to complete, and the owner was impressed with the final result because the two natural cement colours delivered a luxurious natural concrete aesthetic that elevated the overall look and feel of the restaurant.
