Alfa Tower Office Building, Indonesia

Founded in 1996, PT Perkasa Internusa Mandiri provides distribution and logistic services nationwide and globally, and benefits from having its offices at strategic locations. One of the locations is at Alfa Tower Office Building in Tangerang, Indonesia. Built in 2018, the building serves as the headquarters of all subsidiaries under Alfa Corp, which includes PT Perkasa Internusa Mandiri.

Due to the wear and tear over time, the building's loading bay floor needed an overhaul, and PT Tremco CPG Indonesia was contacted to supply the new flooring. As the building's loading bay handles hundreds of deliveries daily, the flooring requires a strong and hardwearing floor surface to withstand the heavy load from a stream of trucks, forklifts and trolleys for the loading and unloading of goods.

Over 800 m² of Flowcrete’s Flowfresh SL was installed in Ash Grey and Warm Buff colours across the loading bay and delivery areas. Flowfresh SL is a pigmented, antimicrobial, self-smoothing polyurethane resin floor finish. It delivers a seamless, anti-slip surface that is durable, safe, hygienic, chemical-resistant and easy to clean. Especially important for handling food-related products, Flowfresh contains Polygiene^®, an additive that provides continuous antimicrobial protection against a range of bacteria, fungi and mould.

The entire flooring project was completed in January 2021.
