Bayer is a global enterprise with core competencies in the life science fields of healthcare and nutrition. Its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Bayer Indonesia, produces and markets a broad range of prescription medications, over the counter drugs and agricultural products for crop protection. As a longtime customer of PT Tremco CPG Indonesia (formerly known as PT Flowcrete Indonesia), when its factory in Cimanggis needed a refurbishment, Bayer readily contacted Tremco CPG Indonesia to supply the flooring job.

The client selected Mondéco Earth in Coconut as its aesthetics complements Bayer’s clean and natural look. Over 800 m² of this solvent-free and highly decorative epoxy resin terrazzo floor finish was applied across the production room. The Mondéco range boasts excellent abrasion and impact resistance to deliver a durable, hygienic and easy to clean surface which reduces the need for future refurbishments and downtime to production areas. It is suitable for pharmaceutical industry that needs to maintain not only high-end appearance, but is also safe for staff and guests.

PT Tremco CPG Indonesia and its licensed contractors completed the job on time in February 2020 despite having to stagger the installation in stages as all aspects of refurbishment for the production room were being carried out at the same time.
