Situated only an hours drive from the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, the centre is easily accessible and provides customers with a variety of auto needs under one roof.

To install robust flooring in its workshop area, the dealership called upon Flowcrete Asia to provide a suitable substrate that would withstand the pressures of a heavy-duty workshop environment.

1,200m² of Flowcrete Asia’s Flowtex PT - a 4-6mm trowel applied, epoxy screed was specified due to its ability to withstand environments that are subjected to high traffic, impacts and chemical spills such as automotive fluids.

Flowtex PT may be used as a heavy duty, underlayment for a variety of chemical resistant and hard-wearing floor toppings in wet and dry industrial, commercial and institutional environments subjected to high traffic, impact and chemical spills.

The floor was then finished with 1,200m² of Flowseal UV Satin – an aliphatic, pigmented PU floor sealer that has a UV stable and satin finish. UV stability was important for this project, as much of the floor space would be subjected to direct sunlight close to the entrances and loading areas, therefore an aliphatic sealer wouldreduce any discolouration.
