Flowcrete Asia worked with Shanghai APM to provide car park decking for its world-class shopping mall.

Developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties, one of the largest property companies in Hong Kong, Shanghai APM is located on Huai Hai Zhong Road, in the busy commercial district of Puxi.

Shanghai APM Centre won a Cityscape Asia award for Best Commercial/Retail Development in 2009 and with this in mind the developers were keen to ensure that a high quality image was maintained in its car park. 

After fighting off numerous competitors Flowcrete Asia was awarded the project and installed 15,000m² of the car park flooring system, Deckshield SL, at the mall. The process lasted for one month and the client was delighted with their brand new hardwearing, high quality, light reflective flooring system. Deckshield SL's abrasion resistant properties will guarantee superior performance for many years to come. It was important for the client that the flooring had a grade A fire rating in order to adhere to new Fire Department regulations.
